Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis process, providing strategic insights, and driving financial decision-making to support the company's overall growth and profitability goals. The Manager of FP&A will collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Lead the development and maintenance of the annual budget, long-range plans, and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance, key metrics, and variances against budget/forecast to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
2. Strategic Business Partner:
• Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to understand key drivers of financial performance and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Act as a strategic partner in evaluating business opportunities, assessing risks, and providing financial insights for various projects and initiatives.
3. Forecasting and Reporting:
• Develop and enhance financial models to support accurate forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
4. Budget Management:
• Monitor and manage budget adherence, providing guidance and support to department heads to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Implement and maintain effective budget tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
5. Financial Systems and Processes:
• Continuously improve financial planning and analysis processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel; experience with financial planning software is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and experience working with cross-functional teams.
